Late summer blogs to focus on Department History

From now to September we will have a few posts highlighting the interesting legacy of our department. The first is a link to our departmental history that appeared in Accent Magazine in 2000. While it speaks to many figures in our past, the article does not even mention others, so if anyone wants to share some memories of philosophy classes and faculty of yore, please do so. Second, we will soon post an article on W. D. Furry, a former philosophy professor here who later became university President. Finally, in the fall, we will look at an interesting connection between C.S. Lewis and one of our long-standing courses, Science as a Cultural Force, soon to celebrate its 45th year. Please send all correspondence and reminiscences to William Vaughan at wvaughan@ashland.edu.
